Server Maintenance (Resolved)

  • PHP on the server will be upgraded to the currently supported versions of PHP. We are making three versions of the PHP available in this maintenance (Versions 7.1, 7.2, 7.3). The currently installed version, PHP 5.x and PHP 7.0 have reached EOL and will no longer be supported. We advise all PHP scripts/applications to be updated to run with the current version(s) of PHP.  This maintenance will not cause any downtime and in the event that we need to reboot the server to complete any updates, it will be under 5 minutes.

    We will leave PHP 5.x and 7.0 on the server for two weeks after the maintenance window to allow time for users to update their PHP scripts/applications to any of the supported versions.

Scheduled Maintenance - 7/11/2014 (Resolved)

  • In our effort to ensure the usual quality and stable service, we are undertaking maintenance services on our network. The server your account is hosted on is currently being migrated to a newer server with additional disk-space and network capacity.

    Our engineers will ensure you do not experience any down time during the migration. We are estimating it will take 7 business days for this migration to be completed starting from 7th Nov, 2014. This could be sooner than expected. We will let you know when it is completed. We will be syncing data between the two servers so this will not affect your services or your work.

    We will try our best to additionally move the IP addresses on the old server to the new server during off peak hours when the migrations are completed.

    We will advice not to continue to login when you have forgotten your password. Doing this will get your IP blacklisted for Brute-Force activities. This is how hackers break into your account by continually trying various random passwords until one happens to work.

    If you have forgotten your cPanel password please login to our Client Area located at https://www.nanresources.com/billing/clientarea.php and reset your cPanel password. This will not require any intervention from us. If you don't know how to do this, you can follow the our KB at http://www.nanresources.com/billing/knowledgebase/8/Changing-Cpanel-Password.html to change your cPanel password.

    If you have forgotten your email password and you do not have access to cPanel please contact your systems administrator or whoever has the access to reset your email password. Don't continue to try to login. You will end up having your network IP being blacklisted.

    We will provide you further updates on how the firewall works to protect your account and what you should do to avoid being blocked.
